Sweet baby Knox does not love when I have dairy in my diet. When I drink milk, eat yogurt, or enjoy some Blue Bell Ice Cream, the milk I produce for him makes his tummy hurt and he spits up a lot. As much as I love a good bowl of yummy Rocky Road or delicious sour cream enchiladas, I love Knox more and don’t ...

I love this great reminder. My family is big into gossiping but they have learnt not to do it around me because I do not participate. I do need to work on thinking before speaking to my boys though.
I wish you all the best with your dairy free diet. My younger son had the exact same thing and I went dairy free for more than 6 months until he decided to eat food. I found it was mostly other people who forgot and kept offering me dairy. Hang in there!
I’m finding it is soooo hard to think before speaking. Just pausing before speaking…definitely comes from the Spirit’s power and not my efforts.
I think you make an interesting point with your comment about “other people who forgot and kept offering me dairy”…I found this to be true with my “Say it to her face” challenge. Even close family who knew about my decision and would ask me about some who wasn’t with us. Just like other’s forgetting my dietary restrictions, I can’t expect them to remember my decision to watch what I say.
Thanks for your thoughts Meaghan.
I will go on a word diet with you. I was just praying about this literally 10 minutes ago. My sharp tongue with my kids and desire to gossip is in desperate need of a word diet. Thank you, friend.
Yay! Glad to have a friend join me! Hope yesterday and today have gone well for you so far.
Heather, I love this, and I love when our children show us God’s ways through their little lives with big truths! Sweet baby Knox has already started to be a little child who will lead.
I appreciate your honesty and gracious words here … and I’m going to pray for the Lord to lighten your dairy craving!
Thanks Julie for your encouragement. My oldest son, Quade, is convinced Knox will be a pastor (based on his name). Going off your comment looks like he is already helping me discover Truth! Appreciate your prayers for the dairy cravings. =)
Great stuff, Heather!!!
thanks chica!!!
