How a Change in Tense Changes Choices
Y’all there are so many thoughts spinning in my head and I’m having the hardest time getting them to come out “perfectly”. So I’m throwing off perfection and gonna do the next right thing…which is tell you what God is telling me. Last New Years when bloggers wrote about their “one word” for 2012 I scoffed and sarcastically ...

What a beautiful new space you have. I recently ‘moved’ too and it was so exciting to dream, plan and pray over my new space.
I find that I connect with God throughout the day in prayer mostly. I keep our ‘child training Bible’ handy and we dive in throughout the day. It is amazing how refreshed I feel after bathing my soul in the Word for a bit – especially when things get a little hectic.

Thanks Heather! Ted (from contemplate design) does a great job really talking through the purpose of the space & making it functional. Oh yes prayer…without ceasing, right? I love the “keep the child Bible handy” idea…involving the kiddos in the process. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice! I wish I could keep the mommy time post in the top four for all time. It made a huge difference to me. Also, the post about Santa and grace, the one about the Easter basket with rocks, and the one about the birthday party that was really about the kid (I think it was Watts who chose a miss match of themes) are stand outs to me.

I feel so blessed to have met you Heather. You are a breath of fresh air. I always find myself enjoying you and looking forward to our next encounters.
I’m praying right now that this new space will be a blessing to many and a light that leads weary mommas to their Champion who centers their focus. I’m also praying that God bless you and provide you with everything you need to lead these women well.

Happy Birthday and thanks for the fun giveaway! I think I stay God-Centered by waking up a few minutes before the three kids come through my bedroom door at 7:06 am (that is when their Good Night Light turns to a sun) and I pray, read some scripture, and just have a few minutes of silence to prepare for the day. I also pray, pray, pray through out the day. Often times, out loud, so my kids can hear whatever is on my heart and model praying/seeking help from God. Thanks again!

The only way to write a book on humility {part 1}
Most writers have big plans to write books. I struggle to even call myself a writer. If you asked me about my “dreams” I would talk about women’s ministry or speaking. But God has a different plan. God decided I should write a book. I’m just coming to grips with His idea. This post should have been written 6 months ago. But back then I thought keeping the ...

I’ve told you how awesome it is. I’ve told you how out-of-sync I feel when I DON’T do it. Today I’m sharing how I truly cannot live (the way I want to live) without morning time with God. The Spirit is present in worship. I love having Pandora on in our kitchen…especially at the end of the day when the crazy starts ramping up!
Thanks Linnea for your encouragement! Always great to hear about posts that help other mommas.
Aww it looks so good! Continually blessed by you through this blog as i raise my two lil guys.
thank you sandy! may God give you strength & wisdom as you raise those boys in grace & truth!
Reflecting on scripture helps me to stay God-centered throughout the day.
Happy Birthday ! I love the new design! I stay focused by quiet time with Him in the morning, podcasts and worship music throughout the day and enough sleep also. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Oh podcasts! What a great idea. Need to try that sometime. Hope you win!
Love, love, love your new space! It’s beautiful!
I look forward to following along with your journey here. <3 <3

wow you bless me with your words…and your prayers! Love spending time with you and your precious spirit. Thanks for walking this journey of online writing with me!
I love your new space — congrats and happy birthday! I stay God focused when I start my day off right; by being in the Word.
oh yes, starting the day in the right place is such an important step…for me as well. Hard to stay centered during the day when I haven’t started off there. Thanks erin!
Happy birthday and thanks for the giveaway! I hope the woman who needs it most is the winner!
Thanks Shereena! What a sweet (and selfless) thought. God Bless.
Oh, I stay God centered by trying to listen to the still small voice that guides me through every moment. And fighting with faith in God’s word.
Prayer! I am constantly sending up prayers. When the kids are fighting, when Im feeling impatient, when the dogs are annoying me…ok maybe not about the dogs, but I am constantly trusting the Lord throughout my day!
ha! giggled when I read “okay maybe not about the dogs”…I’ve definitely had my fair share of “unglued pet moments”. Contrast trust. good stuff chica!
The site update is fabulous!
My little boys & I rock out to worship music basically 24/7 and it makes it easy to reset the hard moments & focus on the Lord again.
It is such a beautiful site!! I’m so happy for you that you finally got your Christmas, birthday, Valentines…desire
May the Lord bless and multiply all you offer Him on these pages. Much love!
Awesome birthday present!!! It looks great!! Happy birthday again!
Congratulations Heather! Beautiful!
Thanks Patti! It’s super fun to have a new space. Thanks for checking it out.
