I just wanted to soak up every single word. I have wanted to pray for my kids but couldn’t seem to come up with the right words to express my request. It turns out God has already said them for me. Thanks Heather for this podcast so I “don’t mom alone”. reply → Juliet February 22, 2018 at 18:07 I loooooved this podcast! God sent me to it this morning and it spoke to me so deeply. I have been praying for prayer resources for my family for a long time and often feel like I am floundering around trying to be a good mother, spiritual guide for my kids and “make things work”. This put the spotlight so beautifully on the fact that it is not actually my job to make things work, but it is my job to partner with God and pray for my children and marriage, and to have faith in His plans… Thank you so much Heather and Jodie, you both have a wonderful ministry. reply → Nikki Maddox February 23, 2018 at 09:57 Thank you so much for this podcast Heather and Jodie! I so needed to hear this today! It’s so good to be reminded that when we meditate on God’s word, our desires begin to align with His will. I struggle with getting wrapped up in trying to be the problem solver. That is not my job as a mom. My job is to abide in Him, pray continuously, and trust in His plan for our lives. reply → Dionne Merriott February 28, 2018 at 09:32 I got this book many years ago as a door prize at a mom’s group when my 16 year old was a preschooler! I enjoyed hearing more about the author since I have enjoyed the book so much and user it all these years! Leave a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
