This was a wonderful episode, thanks so much for sharing! We have a two year old boy who has been giving us a time with tantrums and emotional chaos. I love the space idea and the fact that it’s really not to early to start this! Definitely feeling encouraged and motivated this morning!

Oh my goodness Heather! I have listened to your podcasts for awhile and love them all. I listen while I run and gives me encouragement and change of focus. But TODAY! My longest and fastest run yet…why? because I am so pumped! I loved this episode!!! It was an answer to prayer about what I should focus on this summer with my two boys (ages 8 and 6). I still have a huge smile on my face and I can’t wait to get started! Thank you. (I would love to share more, but I can’t the personal email link to work and it is too much to post in a comment. Thank you!!
In here at the 29 minute mark, the moderator by her tone of voice seems to be saying that the boy who punched a bully for beating up a blind kid was wrong for stepping in and facing off with the bully. She then seems to allude to that hero’s actions that “we should not be a trouble maker” and it sounds to me like she is referring to the kid here as the trouble maker for stepping in and saving the blind kid from being a punching bag. If so may i say that the kid who stepped in to help the blind boy was stepping in not as the trouble maker (as it was obvious it was the bully who was the trouble maker), but the here kid stepped in as the trouble stopper. As big differance and one that should merit praise not scorn from the moderator. THERE IS A TIME TO STEP UP AND DO WHAT IS NECESSARY TO STOP REAL TROUBLE MAKERS. Doesn’t she get the difference?
